Tea Caddies |
After selecting high quality teas, it is important to store them well. As tea leaves readily absorb aromas from other sources, an air tight caddy is the best. Sunlight, and radiant heat from it, can also damage fine teas so an opaque container is advised for storing on a counter or tea table. Originally the term "kati" was used to specify a quantity of tea - around 21 oz. Now the word is applied to all manner of delightful storage containers. |
