For centuries merchants and manufacturers have blended two or more teas from different regions, even different countries, with one another to ensure consistent quality or create their unique product. In addition, other, non-tea, ingredients such as fruits, flowers, spices, herbs and flavorings can also be mixed with a base of tea leaves. The result is a an almost limitless variety of exciting tastes and aromas. Rather than being combined with other ingredients, some teas are allowed to absorb the fragrance of other strongly aromatic elements such flowers or even smoke. All of our Flavored and Scented teas are created in small, micro-blend batches to ensure freshness and use only the finest ingredients and flavorings. THE TEA HOUSE can even prepare your own personal special blend.
